Carl C. Schreck is a senior trial associate in the firm’s Deerfield Beach office. He has practiced as an insurance defense trial attorney for over 20 years.  His current emphasis is in Commercial Motor Vehicle and Trucking Defense and Premises Liability Defense, including Negligent Security, Wrongful Death, Dram Shop Negligence, Aquatic accidents, Accidental Commercial and Residential Drownings, and Slip & Fall litigation.  As a  seasoned trial attorney,  Mr. Schreck has broad experience representing the clients of Topkin Partlow & Stern, including small business owners, landlords, homeowners, retail grocery stores, liquor establishments, restaurants, hospitality industry clients, and major insurance carriers.  Mr. Schreck also has extensive experience with issues related to Medicare Secondary Payer Act Compliance.  Prior to practicing as a civil trial attorney, Mr. Schreck is also proud to have served the citizens of Broward County, Florida as an Assistant State Attorney where he gained substantial criminal trial experience. To date, Mr. Schreck has tried approximately 80 jury trials. He earned his law degree with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law where he was recognized as a Book Award recipient in Trial Advocacy. He has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1996.
